The Fourth World Congress of Veterinary Dermatology was organized by the American Academy of Veterinary Dermatology, the American College of Veterinary Dermatology, the Canadian Academy of Veterinary Dermatology, the European College of Veterinary Dermatology and the European Society of Veterinary Dermatology.
Over 1000 delegates from 42 countries were attracted to a scientific program with four plenary sessions, with 21 state of the art lectures, supporting reviews, and supporting original studies, 22 workshops, 81 free communications, 64 posters and a two-track clinical programme.

The World Association for Veterinary Dermatology was established in 1986 to foster and advance the discipline of veterinary dermatology globally.
