The Global Veterinary Dermatology Education Group (GVDEG) a non-profit organization and affiliated member of th
e WAVD provided an educational seminar focused in veterinary dermatology to 120 veterinarians and students in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, in May. This was the very first seminar in the field of veterinary medicine in Bishkek and veterinarians from neighboring countries such as Kazakhstan, were among the many participants.
The GVDEG and the WAVD have been partners in the common goal of improving the practice of veterinary dermatology in areas around the globe with limited access to continuing education opportunities. The financial support provided by the WAVD has been crucial for the realization of this and other educational programs delivered by the GVDEG.
